Dr. Andosca's Chiropractic Testimony

     I studied math and Molecular Biology as an undergrad and then I worked as a software engineer after I graduated.  During that time I realized that my true interests were in studying the human body and I wanted to become a doctor.   I was also taking martial arts and yoga at that time and I met a Chiropractor while taking a yoga class from him.  I was very impressed with his knowledge of Anatomy and Biophysics, and I learned from him that Chiropractic could heal people without the use of drugs and surgery.  I became intrigued by Chiropractic and I decided to look into it more.  Then, I had a very important experience.    

     I was about 27 at the time and I was struck by a car when I was riding my bicycle to work one morning.  The car knocked me over and drove on my leg.  My leg was not broken, but it was crushed and had a lot of swelling.  The doctors and physical therapists I saw said that there was nothing they could do for me.  I still had a lot of swelling and numbness in my leg, and my ribs hurt a lot.  I felt frustrated by the limitations of the care I received from them.  They just didn't seem to care or even want to help me.     

     Then, a friend of mine referred me to her Chiropractor.  I was skeptical at first because I didn't know what a Chiropractor could do for swelling and numbness.  However, I remembered how smart the first Chiropractor I met was.  I decided to take a chance.  

     My friend's Chiropractor gave me the most thorough exam I had ever had.  Within the first few treatments the swelling in my leg almost completely resolved.  He also treated my spine, ribs, knees and ankles.  I received several months of treatment from him and my symptoms became 90-95% better.  I was also able to begin running again within a few months of care.

     What I appreciated most about that Chiropractor was his desire and willingness to help me.  I also liked his approach to treatment, I liked the environment of his office and how it ran, and I liked what I had learned about Chiropractic through this experience.  It was then that I decided to become a Chiropractor.  I asked for his advice and he strongly encouraged me.  I will always appreciate what he did for me.  It was a life changing experience.  I felt as though I finally found what I wanted to become.
